Intex Developed ATM Resetting Device for Landbank Posted on November 05, 2007 In June 2007, Intex received an order from Land Bank for the development, manufacturing and supply of an M2M device, which will reset ATM machines when they hang. Instead of physically restarting the ATM, the ATM Resetting Device can perform the power reset via SMS command from the central computer station of the bank. In addition to this basic feature, operations and maintenance personnel can remotely monitor actual incoming AC voltage of the ATM machine and undertake measures to protect the machine from power fluctuation. They can also view serial numbers of the ATM machines for asset inventory. This wireless control and monitoring device can run on existing GSM or CDMA technology. The product is being offered to other banks and the Philippine National Bank has requested product demos for evaluation. |
