WTS Recognized as the No. 1 SAQ Contractor for Globe Telecoms Posted on March 02, 2008 For two consecutive years now, WTS has consistently received the recognition of being the number 1 SAQ contractor of Globe Telecoms based on volume of ready-to-build sites delivered. The recognition in 2006 was given on September 20, 2006, while the recognition for 2007 was received on March 11, 2008. As a result, WTS has 20% share of the SAQ business of Globe among 9 contractors. To date, WTS has been awarded almost 1,000 sites since 2004. In return WTS has delivered sites with less than 1% of the sites having issues/problems. It also ensures that sites are within lease parameters set by Globe. The success of the SAQ team can be attributed to their technical know how on GSM, negotiation skills on commercial terms, efficiency in obtaining all permits and clearances from local government units prior to construction and proactive screening of property documents to prevent legal problems. Their technical competency combined with the team’s synergy has created a power team that WTS can be proud of. Under the leadership of Mr. Loi Lagman, Project Manager, the team takes their synergy at heart and they work to complement in a manner where the strength of one compensates for the weakness of the other, thus making individual weaknesses irrelevant.
